An English Country Garden

If you are fortunate enough to have a nice garden and patient enough you can get all sorts of birds in your garden. My family put out sunflower hearts and fat balls which attract all sorts of birds such as chaffinches, goldfinches and the usual blue tits and great tits.

We used to have lots of frogs in our pond but the Herons and local cats have killed most of them.
We are also fortunate enough that we are near the countryside so we get the occasional Heron overhead looking for fish in the garden ponds and we have recently had a pair of Red Kite fly over.

It is a amazing how big Red Kites are, they are about the same size as a Buzzard but have a forked tail and a Buzzard has a fan tail and they usually circle around the sky.

There are also a number of squirrels about who balance and do acrobatics to get to the feeders to get some food for themselves and also fight each other to do so.

We did have about 5 fish in the garden pond but unfortunately the Heron found them and ate them.
